Welcome to my digital space! My name is Liang Chong, also known as Elzy. I started this website because I noticed that many people lack an understanding of hearing wellness. My aim is to create a space where I can discuss hearing wellness and help dispel misconceptions about it.
I am a hearing care professional with a background in Audiology and over seven years of experience in the field. I specialize in MED-EL hearing implants, a variety of hearing aid technologies from The Big Five and OTC brands, tinnitus management, and vocal implant system.
Driven by a commitment to individualized care, I’m passionate about changing the way people view hearing health – helping individuals see hearing devices as positive and empowering tools, rather than a sign of deficiency.
Through this platform, I hope to help individuals gain new perspectives on hearing wellness and make informed decisions about their hearing solutions, leading to a more connected life.

About My Work
I began my career at one of the largest hearing care groups, also a leading hearing implant company in the Asia-Pacific region. My first role taught me how to excel as a clinical audiologist by applying my knowledge to deliver high-quality care and ensure consistent customer satisfaction.
Later, the COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted physical businesses and restricted human contact, resulting in a reduced ability to provide hearing care. This shift motivated me to seek new opportunities, leading me to join a hearing aid startup in Shanghai, China. The company pioneered in direct-to-consumer model through telehealth, revolutionizing the hearing care landscape.
At the startup, I had the opportunity to actively provide remote care to clients with hearing needs. I also took on diverse roles, including Customer Experience Lead and Strategy Analyst, which allowed me to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and expand my understanding of Audiology from various perspectives. This experience underscored the importance of equipping myself with a broader range of insights to better address the evolving needs of clients.
Now, I’m back in Singapore and have rejoined my first company. At hearLIFE Group and MED-EL, I’m entrusted with the freedom to leverage my experience in reshaping and redefining future hearing care, paving the way for an innovative and individualized journey for each client.
